We at National Capital Limited take our Clients privacy very seriously.

Our definition: We will keep all Client information 100% confidential.

Examples:

  • Client situations will not be discussed for non business purposes.
  • If client situations are discussed for business purposes, then only relevant personal info should be shared, in accordance with privacy policy.
  • If a client is someone in your personal circle, you will not share their info with common acquaintances.
  • We will not share client info with third parties for profit, unless the client has specifically agreed to do so.

What information do we collect?

We collect information relating to you that you have provided to us, for example, when you go through our online advice process and fill in the client fact find.

This information may include your name, address, contact details, KiwiSaver and other financial information and anything else we need to provide our services to you.

All personal information is held securely by National Capital Ltd at its registered business address at 46A Gill Avenue, Te Atatu Peninsula, Auckland, New Zealand.

  • Fill in applications on your behalf, with your permission.
  • Monitor your KiwiSaver account.
  • Deal with any requests, enquiries or complaints you may have.

  • Inform you about services that related third party providers can offer you, which are relevant to your relationship with us.
  • Fulfil our regulatory requirements .
  • Carry out activities connected with the running of our business such as personnel training, quality control, network monitoring, testing and maintenance of computer and other systems.

When do we share your information?

We will never sell your information.

However, there may be times when we need to share your information with third parties. You authorise us to share your information with:

  • Third parties who provide us with products or services that support the services that we provide to you, for example - companies and/or contractors that provide us with admin and phone calling/ client follow up services.
  • Third parties that provide other Financial advisory services such as Investment, Mortgage and Insurance advice.
  • Our Compliance agencies, in order to regularly audit that we are complying with our requirements to you under the law.
  • A third party/parties to whom we transfer or sell our business to in respect of which you are a customer or a potential customer.
  • Service Providers who host or maintain data centres, service platforms, cloud based solutions and other infrastructure and systems for us, where your information is processed, hosted or stored.
  • Any person or organisation as authorised by the Privacy Act 1993.

We may use third party companies/contractors for administrative and client/prospect follow ups by phone/email/online communication. These third party companies will contact you on our behalf.

We will only disclose your personal information without your consent when it is necessary for us:

  • To defend any claims made against us by any person, including you.
  • To report a cyber incident or for cyber security purposes.
