Nikko AM KiwiSaver Performance - September 2021

Written by Andrew Orbell | Dec 27, 2021 10:00:00 PM

Using the most recent returns from September 2021, we will examine Nikko AM recent KiwiSaver Performance.

Nikko Asset Management actively manages over $7.9 billion of investments. They manage domestic assets through Auckland-based investment teams and employ carefully selected offshore managers to manage global assets. The Nikko AM KiwiSaver Scheme manages six funds, has a total KiwiSaver Assets Under Management of over $63 million, and has 1,941 KiwiSaver members.

During September, the share market and Nikko AM KiwiSaver Funds had a drop in returns. This could be attributed to the fact that Auckland is still in lockdown, the market settling down after last year's significant returns or another external factor. However, investors in KiwiSaver shouldn’t worry as it's natural for the market to have ups and downs and doesn't always indicate the long-term performance of these funds.
